What's my story?
Everyone should have a mentor or two, at least someone they can associate with, trust, and learn through their experience. I have three that keep me in line, connected, motivated, and educated. They each serve a different purpose and provide resources to help me grow. The public school system does not teach you the importance of credit and how to use it or finances, so we are subject to failure if we don't win the lotto, have a wealthy family, or catch a break. We have to get educated and surround ourselves with successful people or people who know the game and do not mind teaching us. If you are the most intelligent person in your circle, you need to start branching out and networking. You are your best investment, so stay educated and learn to get your money back...it's a tax write-off! It is essential to our personal and business growth.
